Who should attend?

The course is aimed at excavator operators who are required to use excavators that are fitted with a Quick Hitch Device. It is also suited for supervisors and managers who require an understanding of Quick Hitch Devices

Aims and Objectives

On completion of the course persons will have the knowledge to enable them to carry out the appropriate checks once an attachment has been fitted which will ensure that the attachment is correctly fitted and secured, be able to identify defects / problems with the Quick Hitch during pre-start inspections and have the ability to carry out routine maintenance.

Course content

The course is delivered using a power point presentation, practical exercise, completed with a test paper which is aimed at assessing the level of understanding gained. The course will be delivered covering the following topics:
